Description of the project content:
By bringing together different types of institutions (biotechnology companies, higher education institutions, research institutes), the work aims to help young entrepreneurs who want to work in the production of essential oils and essential oil plants. Based on scientific knowledge and case studies, we will promote, through business models, the trade and production of essential oils as active substances of natural origin. This will help to address the growing market interest, new market segments and new biotechnological processes, while maintaining a focus on the conservation of the biodiversity of essential oil species. The project will thus support the development and sustainability of this important and growing sector by bringing together different knowledge centres and market actors. Our department's main task is to implement e-learning and practical training and curriculum development on essential oil plants.
