Description of the project content:
Plant protection in organic farming - preparation of training material and delivery of courses (TOPPlant ERASMUS+ project). The objective of the project is to compile a body of knowledge covering all aspects of plant protection in organic farming. The results of the work planned under the project are:
I. To develop a methodological curriculum for the protection of crops grown according to the principles of organic farming, providing professional knowledge, as well as a methodology for knowledge transfer and appropriate teaching methods for trainers who will transfer the knowledge acquired to user groups (organic farmers and those who wish to convert their farms into organic farms).
II. Development of a training manual.
III. Preparation of crop-specific guidelines for organic crop protection based on the identified needs of organic farmers in each participating country, related to the most common plant disease challenges.
