Following feedback from various stakeholders, there are a number of changes to the MSCA under Horizon Europe (2021-2027), compared to the previous programme Horizon 2020 (2014-2020). Please consult this page to discover the differences.

Funding opportunities
- MSCA Doctoral Networks: The MSCA Doctoral Networks aim to train entrepreneurial, innovative and resilient doctoral candidates, able to face current and future challenges and to convert knowledge and ideas into products and services for economic and social benefit. Submit your proposal by 28 November 2023
- MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2023: The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships aim to support the creative and innovative potential of postdoctoral researchers wishing to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral mobility. Submit your project proposal by 13 September 2023
- MSCA Staff Exchanges 2023: MSCA Staff Exchanges promote innovative international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary collaboration in research and innovation through exchanging staff and sharing knowledge and ideas at all stages of the innovation chain. Next call for proposals opens on 5 October 2023
- MSCA Cofund 2023: MSCA COFUND co-finances new or existing doctoral programmes and postdoctoral fellowship schemes, aiming to spread the MSCA’s best practices. Next call for proposals opens on 10 October 2023
- MSCA and Citizens 2023: Through the European Researchers’ Night, MSCA and Citizens aims to bring research and researchers closer to the public at large, to increase awareness of research and innovation activities and to boost public recognition of science and research education. Submit your project proposal by 25 October 2023

Who can apply?
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are open to all domains of research and innovation, chosen freely by the applicants in a fully bottom-up manner. Any type of organisation can apply for Horizon Europe funding as long as they have the operational and financial capacity to carry out the tasks they propose.
